Who We Are

Women against all forms of Discrimination is a sex workerled membership organisation,advocating for the full attainment of women's rights stipulated in the convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination against women CEDAW).
The organistaion was formed in 2015 and officially registered as trust in 2016;registration (MA614/16),after the realization that stigma and discrimination undermine efforts prevent the spread of HIV and posebarries to accessing care and treatment services.
Social exclusion and Health inequalities meanKPs cannot benefit from health services if they do not have access to them and are afraid to seek them
Hence sex workers came together to provide peer peer HIV and Health support.
WAAD provides co-ordinated approaches to advocay and policy engagements with differentstakeholders on women's Rights,HIV/AIDS,Sexual Reproductive Health,CBC and Livelihoods.
WAAD is driven to represent women in their diversity with a special focus on women in marginalised communitiesand the affected population perticulary sexworkers

We aim to  empower each other as Women,Lets not take advantage of the vulnerable women.
Our intention to assert that superiority in the family, at school, at work, in the community or in society as a whole.

Our Objectives

  • To uphold andpromote womens's rights and equality.
  • To disseminate information on Sexual Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR),HIV prevention treatment literacyincluding the distribution of protective barriers,prmoting safe sex.
  • To fight Gender Based Violence(GBV) by empowering Women to report all cases of violation and seek assistance.
  • To advocate for equal and fair distribution of national resorces.To institute a system of networking and cross learning both locally and globally that is appropriate to the capacity stregthening needs of members.
  • To advocate for access to health services including full attainment of sexual reproductive health services.
  • To promote exit strategies and support livelihoods initiativess for sex workors seeking to venture in small business.
